The Kill is a local band from Orlando, Florida. The band was formed in the fall of 1994. (Some members have been replaced.) The band is: Jas, vocals; Sammy Allen, bass; Jason Jameson, guitar; Tim DiDuro, drums. Recordings are: - Wake The Dead (1995) - The Kill (EP) (1996) - Superdragsmackheadpsychoplasticgogopunk (1997) The Kill released their latest cd Superdragsmackheadpsychoplasticgogopunk in the US and Canada on July 7th, and as of now it has sold over 5,000 copies, so look for it at your local music store. It has been said that this kind of music is "alternative" it is not. It's a unique sound with a kind of grunge meets pop attitude. The Kill's shows are an event to see for yourself, the crowd likes to sing along with tunes like "Sister Skeleton" and "Bad Girls". This past summer the guys opened up for Alice Cooper at the House of Blues, and in December they won the "Start you Career" contest and won the opening spot for the Motley Crue concert. Also under their belts is an Orlando Music Award. Keep your ears and eyes open for further development on The Kill's future there is something on the horizon for sure!!!!!! | ||||||||||||||||
